Description: Students will learn and experience real-time production techniques and skills of a fashion show. Includes but not limited to, budget planning, project management, marketing, staffing, d?cor, staging, and production.

1. Identify types of fashion shows. (I)
2. Develop a budget and project plan. (II)
3. List tasks and delegate responsibilities for the fashion show. (II)
4. Plan venue seating arrangements and ticket sales. (II)
5. Select a theme for the fashion show and arrange promotions/advertising. (II-III)
6. Plan sponsor opportunities and obtain sponsor support as needed. (II-III)
7. Plan, obtain, and set up venue d?cor, runway/stage arrangement, additional lighting, video, and backdrop as needed. (II-IV)
8. Select individual designs and collections, and class project garments. (III)
9. Select and fit models. (III)
10. Organize the show format, list model/garment lineup, and plan the finale for the fashion show. (III)
11. Prepare a press release and print programs for the fashion show. (III)
12. Schedule dressers and assign them to models. (III)
13. Select music and complete staging for the fashion show. (III-IV)
14. Arrange and conduct a fashion show rehearsal. (IV)
15. Schedule and organize cosmetic and hair assistants as needed. (IV)
16. Make final preparations at the venue and present a fashion show. (V)
17. Organize and execute removal of show items from the venue. (V)
18. Evaluate the fashion show. (VI)
