MCCCD Official Course Competencies | |||
---|---|---|---|
1. Define, manipulate, and relate abstract geometric elements using general CAD procedures. (I)
2. Apply procedures for the synthesis and analysis of geometric constructions used in design documentation. (I) 3. Implement practices to develop two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) concept sketches expressed in standard pictorial formats. (II) 4. Develop orthographic multiviews from preliminary sketches and models and from standard pictorial formats. (III) 5. Construct drawings with basic 3D modeling principles and produce a 3D print. (IV) | |||
MCCCD Official Course Competencies must be coordinated with the content outline so that each major point in the outline serves one or more competencies. MCCCD faculty retains authority in determining the pedagogical approach, methodology, content sequencing, and assessment metrics for student work.
