1. Demonstrate propagation and reflection of sound in creating images of anatomy.
2. Utilize ultrasonic transducers to acquire sonographic images showing limitations and advantages of various types. 3. Show imaging artifacts using ultrasound imaging equipment. 4. Demonstrate use of harmonics, compound imaging and extended field of view to acquire diagnostic information. 5. Use pulsed Doppler, color flow imaging, and grayscale to acquire sonographic data. 6. Apply principles of safety to limit acoustic exposures to sound waves. | |||
