Description: Application of diagnostic concepts to arterial, venous, and cerebrovascular vasculature. Normal human vascular anatomy. Demonstration of selected scanning protocols to include extremity and visceral vascular systems.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Perform scanning protocols for the normal and abnormal arterial vascular system.
2. Demonstrate scanning protocols to detect pathology of the upper and lower extremity venous system.
3. Employ scanning protocols to detect normal and abnormal findings of the cerebrovascular system.
4. Utilize specific vascular ultrasound imaging equipment.
