Description: Workshop in the study and performance of Musical Theatre repertoire. Including audition techniques, talent evaluation criticism, rehearsal techniques, vocal acting styles, stage movement, and performance.

1. Apply stage directions in performing a musical theatre role. (I)
2. Display freedom of the body for the demands of stage movement. (II)
3. Prepare and develop the role of assigned character. (III)
4. Use clear articulation and enunciation in text of the role. (V)
5. Perform improvisations. (V)
6. Exhibit self-confidence in rehearsal and performance. (V)
7. Use dramatics as applied in musical theatre. (V)
8. Apply techniques for improving voice and musicianship. (V)
9. Demonstrate an ability to study vocal score. (V)
