Description: Designed for the student with little or no experience in electronic music. Includes the various components of the electronic music lab, including synthesizers, MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface), computers, and audio systems



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Describe the purpose of each major component in the electronic music lab. (I-IV)
2. Set up a music work station connecting the major components. (I-IV)
3. Implement the operating systems of each major component. (I-IV)
4. Utilize the major components for various assigned projects. (I- IV)
