Description: Practical application of processing of automobile insurance accident and loss reports. Emphasis on customer service while processing claims reports. Usage of computerized insurance system included.

1. Access an insurance computer system. (I)
2. Determine if a member`s insurance limits cover an accident. (II)
3. Demonstrate ability to take the first report of an auto accident or loss. (III)
4. Complete a loss report on the computer system. (III)
5. Determine when an insured is at fault for an accident. (IV)
6. Inform insured member of fault in an accident. (IV)
7. Complete claims correspondence. (V)
8. Process a loss report involving injuries. (I-VI)
9. Process a loss report involving a fatality. (I-VI)
10. Process a loss report involving property damage. (I-VI)
11. Practice principles of customer service while processing claims. (I-VII)
12. Respond to various customer inquiries. (I-VII)
