1. Calculate drainage fixture units for waste systems. (I)
2. Demonstrate how to size, drain, waste, and vent (DWV), storm drainage, roof storage and drainage systems. (I) 3. Explain proper technique for installation, diagnosis, and repair of sewage and storm water removal systems. (II) 4. Identify safety issues and hazard communications associated with corrosive waste piping. (III) 5. State when corrosive resistant waste piping is required and select and properly connect different types of piping. (III) 6. Explain the principles of compressed air systems including components and accessories. (IV) 7. Review installation and servicing procedures for air compressor systems. (IV) 8. Demonstrate how to disinfect, filter, and soften water supply systems. (V) 9. Describe how to troubleshoot, disinfect, and flush out contaminants from a plumbing and potable water system. (V) 10.Review basic concepts and practices in accounting, project estimating, cost control, and task organization. (VI) | |||
