Description: Basic principles of color theory, camera and input and output techniques using slide film or digital photography.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Trace the history of color photography. (I)
2. Identify and apply basic color theory principles to color photography. (II, IV)
3. Identify and apply appropriate exposure techniques for slide film or digital photography. (III)
4. Identify and describe styles and trends in color photography including digital options. (IV)
5. Use input and output devices. (V)
6. Prepare a portfolio of color images. (V, VI)
