Description: Computer-aided drafting (CAD-based) instruction directed to the creation of fully annotated site plans and sectional views. Development of professional quality site plans, wall sections, and building sections working from given residential and commercial layouts. Assignments incorporate applicable codes, construction materials and methods and office practices typical to the local area.

1. Demonstrate job entry level CAD skills and technical knowledge required to layout, complete and plot residential and commercial site plans working from a given sketch. (I, II, III)
2. Demonstrate job entry level CAD skills and technical knowledge required to layout, complete and plot typical wall and building sections working from a given sketch. (I, IV)
3. Demonstrate professional attitudes, work habits and commitment to quality expected in the workplace. (V)
4. Demonstrate proficiency in quick or working sketch techniques required for effective office communication. (VI)
5. Demonstrate professional quality Architectural hand lettering style. (VII)
