Description: Practical training in the development of skills and expertise necessary to achieve organizational goals, with and through people. Examines functions and work activities that result in a more productive and harmonious workforce.

1. Explain the changing roles of leaders and managers in today`s business environment.(I)
2. Identify, describe, and apply a systems approach to managing outcomes. (I-IV)
3. Identify and use skills and techniques to develop a commitment to quality processes within a group.(I-IV)
4. Identify and demonstrate decision making and problem solving skills in a variety of situations.(II-IV)
5. Identify and describe a variety of leadership and learning styles.(III)
6. Identify and explain tools and techniques that may be used to communicate and motivate a culturally diverse workforce.(III)
7. Apply a variety of motivational techniques designed to improve work performance and to facilitate interpersonal relationships. (III-IV)
8. Identify and describe the stages of team development and explain the basic principles of group dynamics.(IV)
9. Facilitate team processes and resolve content issues in a variety of group situations.(IV)
10. Identify and explain sources of power and influence within a variety of organizational settings.(V)
11. Analyze major management issues such as ethics, social responsibility and balancing conflicting stakeholder needs.(V)
