Description: Analysis of contemporary social welfare services and professional social work.

Explain the dynamics of ethnic diversity, gender issues, and other facets of human diversity in social work practice. (II) 9. Summarize the broad range of practice settings for social workers. (III) 10. Describe the history, values, functions, knowledge base, policy, and social work roles in different practice settings. (III) 11. Describe the impact of fund sources, bureaucracies, government, and general oversight requirements on the practice of social work. (III) 12. Explain the impact of institutional racism, sexism, and ageism on social work practice. (IV) 13. Identify the social, economic, and political stratification of our society. (IV) 14.
