Description: Fundamentals of drafting including lettering, basic drawing concepts, geometric construction and multiview projection.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Describe the basic projections of an object. (I)
2. Use regular drawing instruments. (II)
3. Use correct letter forms for vertical, capital, and Gothic lettering. (III)
4. Complete problems involving principles of geometrical construction. (IV)
5. Use sketching techniques showing shape descriptions. (V)
6. Draw multi-view projections of an object. (VI)
7. Demonstrate isometric sketching. (VI)
8. Complete drawings using correct sectional view techniques. (VII)
