Description: Firsthand work experience in mental health, social service or a related behavioral healthcare provider setting. 80 hours of designated volunteer or paid work.

1. Complete work experience. (I, II, V)
2. Identify services provided by behavioral health and social services provider agencies. (II)
3. Identify safety concerns in mental health and social services workplace and employee procedures used to minimize/mitigate risks. (III)
4. Communicate effectively with field instructor/supervisor and other agency personnel. (IV)
5. Observe and document best practices in behavioral workplace environment. (V)
6. Demonstrate the ability to apply behavioral health and social serve concepts in the work environment. (V)
7. Analysis and critique of the work-related learning experience.(VI)
8. Reflect on personal areas of job-related interest. (VII)
