Description: Further development of microcomputer keyboard speed and accuracy. Emphasis on touch typing with speed and accuracy development of numerals as related to preparation and handling of documents.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Use proper techniques to operate microcomputer keyboard. (I)
2. Demonstrate proficient use of the microcomputer keyboard. (I)
3. Use proper microcomputer operations to manage disk media. (II)
4. Demonstrate keyboard input with speed of at least 45 wpm with no more than 3 errors for 3 minutes. (III)
5. Use proofreading skills and symbols to edit documents. (IV)
6. Produce varying styles of letters, tables, and reports. (V)
