Description: Private Instruction emphasizing developmental improvement of musicianship and technique from an entering skill level. Four course sequence required of all music majors meeting departmental requirements. Instruction provided on voice, piano, harpsichord, organ, guitar, trumpet, French horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, violin, viola, violoncello, contrabass, bass guitar, and percussion.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Demonstrate euphonium technique commensurate with proficiency level. (I)
2. Demonstrate elements of musicianship during performance. (II)
3. Perform a variety of euphonium literature commensurate with proficiency level. (III)
4. Perform selected pieces in a public form. (IV)
