Description: Covers the skills required in vinyl manipulation; examines the development of turntable techniques and the contributions made by individual turntable artists.

1. Summarize the historical development of turntable performance and the contributions made by important individuals. (I)
2. Explain and demonstrate proper coordination. (II)
3. Describe and perform basic scratching techniques. (III)
4. Explain and demonstrate basic beat juggling. (IV)
5. Describe and perform a flange. (V)
6. Explain and demonstrate exercises and practices. (VI)
