Description: Private Instruction emphasizing musicianship, literature, technique and performance. Four-course sequence designed for university transfer equivalency. Instruction provided on voice, piano, harpsichord, organ, guitar, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone horn, tuba, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, violin, viola, violoncello, contrabass, bass guitar, percussion, and harp.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Demonstrate violoncello technique commensurate with proficiency level. (I)
2. Demonstrate elements of musicianship during performance. (II)
3. Perform a variety of violoncello literature commensurate with proficiency level. (III)
4. Perform selected pieces in a public form. (IV)
