Description: Work experience in fashion design business or industry. Work hours are coordinated for a minimum of 80 hours per semester. Supervision and evaluation by internship coordinator.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Develop individualized fashion design work experience learning objective(s) in consultation with internship coordinator and a job supervisor. (I)
2. Perform assigned job-related duties in a satisfactory manner. (II)
3. Work a minimum of 80 hours per semester for one hour of internship college credit. (II)
4. Complete a weekly log documenting work responsibilities and the accomplishment of learning objective(s). (III)
MCCCD Official Course Competencies must be coordinated with the content outline so that each major point in the outline serves one or more competencies. MCCCD faculty retains authority in determining the pedagogical approach, methodology, content sequencing, and assessment metrics for student work.
