Description: The Academic Certificate (AC) in Spanish Language and Culture is designed to provide students with the essential language skills and vocabulary to communicate with confidence in diverse communicative situations. Instruction in the diverse cultural context will help students to understand the complex interdependence of language and culture.

Program Notes
This program is not eligible for Title IV Federal Financial Aid.
Students must earn a grade of C or better in all courses within the program.

Students may qualify to enter higher level Spanish courses by placement or may qualify to exempt out of taking any Spanish courses by assessment. Students wishing to earn credit for any course of which they are exempt by assessment should take the CLEP examination.
