Description: The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Fashion Illustration includes an advanced study of proportion and techniques used in drawing fashion figures and flats. Various art supplies are used to illustrate fabrics, textures, and patterns. An Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Fashion Design is also available.

Learning Outcomes
1. Create illustrations for fashion design using traditional and computer-assisted drawing methods. (TEC125, TEC134, TEC135, TEC136, TEC138, TEC139, TEC221)
2. Render intricate fabrics with specialty textures and patterns. (TEC136, TEC135, TEC138, TEC221, TEC222)
3. Develop portfolio illustrations with flats and fabric swatches, using a variety of art supplies. (TEC125, TEC135, TEC136, TEC138, TEC139)
4. Incorporate principles and elements of design in original illustrations. (TEC125, TEC221)
5. Complete a final rendering using course techniques including silhouette, exaggeration, and dramatic illustrative style. (TEC135, TEC136, TEC236)
