Description: The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Image Consultant is designed for students with an interest in Image Consulting. Students learn clothing strategies for all figure types, appropriate dress for all occasions, nutrition, and interpersonal skills. They develop the ability to advise clients and groups for an acceptable image. Completers of this certificate will have interned with a nationally certified Image Consultant through the Association of Image Consultants, International (AICI), for a minimum of 480 hours. They may then apply for accreditation from AICI.

Learning Outcomes
1. Apply knowledge of the visual and psychological aspects of color to advise clients in developing a desired image. (ART113)
2. Utilize effective oral and written communication skills appropriate to image consulting. (COM110)
3. Examine the effect of healthy living on body image and well-being. (HES100)
4. Assess the psychological, aesthetic, and economic factors that affect clothing choices and behaviors in world cultures and the global fashion industry. (ART113, TEC105)
