Description: The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Apparel Construction is designed for students to learn advanced sewing techniques appropriate for custom apparel. Students will develop abilities to select appropriate materials and notions for specific items of apparel.

Learning Outcomes
1. Use appropriate pattern, fabric, tools, equipment and techniques to construct garments. (TEC110, TEC111, TEC120, TEC122, TEC124, TEC143, TEC223, TEC227)
2. Alter patterns to fit individual figures during the construction process. (TEC111, TEC112AQ, TEC120, TEC124, TEC223, TEC227)
3. Select materials and notions appropriate for constructing specific garments and accessories. (TEC116, TEC120, TEC122, TEC124, TEC222, TEC223, TEC227)
4. Apply construction techniques correctly on samples and garments. (TEC111, TEC116, TEC120, TEC122, TEC124, TEC143, TEC223, TEC227)
5. Operate a serger and industrial machine effectively. (TEC129, TEC143)
