Scott Stroher (Glendale Community College, MCCCD) presented request to change ASU AZ Transfer Guide MCCCD to ASU as the following:
Arizona State University Students must take MAT210 or MAT270 *satisfies AGEC-B requirement) and MAT211 or MAT271 or equivalent Bachelor of Arts (BA) programs: ASU MCCCD Brief Calculus MAT210 MAT212 or MAT213 Quantitative MAT211 GBS220 or MAT217 or MAT218 Methods Bachelor of Science (BS) programs: ASU MCCCD Brief Calculus MAT210 MAT212 or MAT213 Quantitative MAT211 MAT217 or MAT218 Methods OR Calculus I MAT270 MAT220 or MAT221 Calculus II MAT271 MAT230 or MAT231 Michelle Pfund (ASU) indicated that GBS220 would be accepted and they will make the change. Will send the proposal to Michele Pfund for her approval and it will be sent through the IC for approval. Then send to AZ Transfer. Anne Pagel, UA – indicated that the courses for University of Arizona are listed correctly; however, the text is incorrect. It is listing old math classes. |

Meeting minutes review & approval: Motion to pass by Bruce McHenry (South Mountain), second by Margarita Fate (Cochise Community College);
Suggestion for a spreadsheet that lists the colleges to round-robin the new chair every year. Michele Pfund recommended that the chair have about 3 years of experience before serving as a Notetaker. Definitely needs to be two separate people. We will need to skip around as people come and go. The recordings of the meetings should go to the Chair and to the Notetaker. Vote taken: representatives will first serve as Notetaker then the following year they will serve as Chair. October 2024 ASU will be chair with AWC as notetaker, then AWC will chair and CAC will be notetaker so on and so forth alphabetically as indicated in meeting note votes. BUS ATF representatives request to have a list of colleges created in alphabetical order for reference.
