Changes to the CEG :
Changes to Majors on Common Course Matrix : Group created a skeleton matrix for Fashion but have been told that it can't be approved because more community colleges need to offer these types of courses. Group would like AZTransfer to get back to them regarding this. Since Maricopa and Pima district offer these courses, they make up around 15 community colleges in AZ. They would like to keep the Fashion matrix. The "Under Review" for the other colleges can be defaulted to NA because they don't offer these courses. They do not want to "dive" into editing the Fashion matrix anymore until they know it has been approved by AZ Transfer.
Changes to Common Course Matrices :
Changes to Exam Equivalency Matrices : The community colleges are encouraged to look at the Design and Textiles exam to see if they will accept it for credit. ASU noted that this exam mapped to Textiles very well. The three universities all accept this exam for credit. To review the exam, please click on the Cambridge link at the bottom of the Design and Textiles exam matrix from your dashboard and report to your articulation person the credit you would like to grant, so they can note it in the matrix.

NAU will be changing the MER direct equivalencies in this exam matrix to elective credit next year because the direct equivalencies will no longer be offered. The Chair requested we wait for one more year.
AGEC Information :
Record of Voting : Fall 2020 minutes approved unanimously
Additional Comment/ Discussion Items : Note to AZTransfer and Maricopa RE: adding a member to this group. Char Brandom, Phoenix College,
"I'd like to request that we add Sherlyn Celaya, Program Director for Fashion Merchandising at Phoenix College, to our list of attendees. Her email is Sherlyn.celaya@phoenixcollege.edu."

ASU, Stacie Foster, noted that it might be beneficial for students to see in the Major Guides the related electives that their degree requires so students could take the electives prior to transfer. AZ Transfer - could that be done in the Major Guides and if so, please contact Stacie Foster at ASU.
Issues Raised : The Chair noted that the video took up too much time during the meeting. She suggested that in the future, the video be sent to members to watch ahead of time, prior to the ATF meeting, to save time. Several members agreed with her in the chat.
Curriculum Planning : Note to AZTransfer: In this meeting report, there are no boxes to enter prefix changes needed on the dashboard. Please add a box for this. On the dashboard, UArizona has created a new prefix called FITS (Fashion Industry's Science and Technology). More information is attached.

Note to AZTransfer: Please remove the prefix MER for NAU - no longer offering.
