Curriculum Planning : |
1. ASU has new concentrations coming within BA degree: The BA in Business with a Concentration in Chinese Language and Culture and a BA in Business with a Concentration in Spanish Language and Culture. Business is working with the Chinese Flagship program which is developing new methods to teach Chinese to ensure fluency. Hopefully students will have internships abroad in these areas. It was noted that these BA?s are very challenging and there are no excess electives.
2. ASU has a brand new certificate in Business Data Analytics which starts Fall 2014. The new partnership with Starbucks online programs is ramping up. WPC is getting ready to offer six BA concentrations through the Online program: Communication, Global Leadership, Global Logistics, Sustainability, Food Industry Management, Retail Management. Retail Management is a new program only available online with course work in agribusiness, supply chain, marketing, and management. 3. Dine College has a new BA in Business Administration; a four year program which was fully accredited by HLC. |
