3. The BATF reviewed the three goals of the CNS project: 1) Enhance the transfer process; 2) Smoother/transparent transfer of credits; and 3) Encourage more community college students to transfer. The BATF voted to see if the CNS project would actually fulfill the three goals, and the vast majority of members felt that it would NOT fulfill these goals. (30 voted against the CNS; 1 voted for the CNS; and 1 abstained). Therefore, the BATF does not support the Common Numbering System for business students.
