Changes to Common Course Matrices : Remove note in Quantitative Methods Cell:
The business ATF requests the removal of the note under Quantitative Methods as being confusing/redundant to the existing footnote 017. The QM concern is a vague disclaimer; but footnote 017 is specific to the concerns of transfer students to ASU.

Finite Math:
The business ATF recommends that Finite Math NOT be included in the MCCCD Quantitative methods cell. Finite does not meet the requirements as a prerequisite to GBS 221. Students would have to take GBS 220 to prepare them for the statistics course. Including Finite Math would result in additional hours toward degree completion. ASU, U of A and the Business and Math department at MCCCD do not believe that finite math is adequate preparation for the business programs. NAU accepts GBS 220 toward fulfillment of the Quantitative methods requirement.

Inclusion of MCCCD equivalencies to ASU MAT 211:
This issue requires additional discussion at and between institutions before a recommendation can be made. The Business ATF will address this issue in the spring 2007.
