Description: Design, produce, and present a professional portfolio. Includes material selection and techniques, customer focus, contents and organization, presentation formats, flat sketching techniques, presentation boards, and writing a resume and cover letter for potential employers



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Select media, materials, and techniques for portfolio development. (I)
2. Identify customer focus as related to the production of a portfolio. (II)
3. Select specific content and organize portfolio development. (III)
4. Identify presentation formats and select appropriate format for portfolio development. (IV)
5. Sketch presentation and production flats. (V)
6. Use appropriate sketching techniques to create flats. (V)
7. Identify types of presentation boards and plan a presentation. (VI)
8. Write resume and cover letter for specific employment in the fashion industry. (VII)
