Describe similarities and differences using transition words, (such as however, but, likewise, also, in spite of, etc.) in simple and compound sentences. (I) 5. Use modals to make requests and show need and ability. (I) 6. Ask questions using tag forms to request confirmation. (I) 7. Ask for and respond to requests for favors with appropriate words and actions. (I, II) 8. Ask for and give opinions, showing appropriate listening behavior. (I, II) 9.
