Description: Principles and processes of propagation of crops using seed, budding, grafting, and cuttings in greenhouse structures and open ground

1. Describe the types and purposes of various greenhouse structures. (I) 2. Explain the methods of controlling environmental factors in a greenhouse to enhance plant growth. (I) 3. Identify and describe various media used for plant propagation. (II) 4. Describe the development of seed to sexual maturity. (III) 5. Explain methods and uses of asexual propagation methods, including by cuttings, grafting, budding, layering, and underground root and stem systems. (IV) 6. Explain various aseptic methods of plant propagation. (V) 7. Describe the processes involved in nursery management, including plant care, display, and marketing. (VI)
