Description: Use of computer techniques including color paint and draw programs for the production of commercial illustrations for publications and printed matter. Use of video input, slide image transfer, gray scale scanners, and output production devices



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Execute final illustrations using hard copy. (I, III)
2. Design camera-ready illustrations through the use of software packages. (II)
3. Employ design and composition to critically evaluate commercial illustrations. (III)
4. Present an art portfolio ready for critique and evaluation. (IV)
