Description: Graphic design use in microcomputer; black and white graphics, standard brushes, lines, shapes, area fills and fonts. Illustration, advertising graphics, typography, and video interaction



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Edit graphic information received from external sources through various mediums and reformat that information for use in the computer environment. (I-II)
2. Utilize graphic input devices and demonstrate the different characteristics of each device on the production of finished computer graphic art. (I-II)
3. Use the computer to produce camera-ready graphic designs (black and white mechanicals) for consumer applications. (II)
4. Execute final art using hardcopy from an appropriate printer. (I, II, III)
