1. Perform advanced consultation, services, advisement, and documentation within the scope of practice and for the appropriate setting. (I)
2. Perform comprehensive professional aesthetics services considering underlying skin conditions, contraindications, and infection control protocols. (I) 3. Model industry accepted professional appearance, ethical behavior, personal hygiene standards, and personal wellness strategies. (I-IV) 4. Create a customized treatment plan with proper product selection based upon a client`s consultation, goals, and commitment. (I-IV) 5. Collaborate effectively with a diversity of individuals and teams. (I-IV) 6. Communicate in a culturally responsive manner to build trust and rapport with others. (I-IV) 7. Utilize retailing strategies and client education to promote products and treatment series. (I-IV) 8. Perform safety and sanitation practices in compliance with the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology (AZBOC). (I, II, IV) 9. Document accurate and ongoing treatment records and consult forms. (I, II, IV) 10. Evaluate documentation to assess progress and inform treatment. (I, II, IV) 11. Prepare for business and job search activities such as researching, interviewing, and networking. (III) 12. Develop materials for use in the professional world such as a business plan, resume, online presence, and career portfolio. (III) 13.
