Description: This course is a summative culmination of the investigator courses. Students will assume the investigator`s role in a crime scene scenario, securing a crime scene, processing evidence, preparing documentation, and submit a case for trial.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Demonstrate proper crime scene management. (I-II)
2. Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate evidence procedures, involving chain of custody, testing, and/or analysis. (I-II)
3. Demonstrate the ability to complete appropriate documentation involving search warrant to submittal paperwork. (I-II)
