Description: Principles and operation of automotive suspension and steering systems.

3. Describe the principles and factors that govern steering, suspension and alignment performance. (IV)
4. Describe the various types of frames. (V)
5. Use appropriate service information, tools and equipment to adjust, replace and/or repair suspension and steering components. (II - V, VII-VIII)
6. Use appropriate service information, tools and equipment to dismount, mount and balance tire and wheel assemblies. (II, III, VI)
7. Use appropriate service information, tools and equipment to verify proper operation of the suspension and steering. (II - V, VII-VIII)
8. Document work performed according to industry standards. (IX)
9. Demonstrate industry standard professionalism that includes dress, attendance and customer service. (I - IX)
10. Effectively communicate with diverse audiences. (I - IX)
