Description: Survey of the basic standards and procedures for drawing setups and design documentation in the fields of architecture, manufacturing, and civil technology. Multi-source hard copy design presentation.



MCCCD Official Course Competencies
1. Set up and utilize basic drawing and dimensioning parameters for the production of CAD drawing files useful in architectural, civil, and manufacturing design documentation. (I)
2. Provide hard copy design documents based on standard documentation formats for CAD design fields. (I, II)
3. Implement scale and viewport manipulation pertinent to produce multi-source hard copy design presentation. (III)
MCCCD Official Course Competencies must be coordinated with the content outline so that each major point in the outline serves one or more competencies. MCCCD faculty retains authority in determining the pedagogical approach, methodology, content sequencing, and assessment metrics for student work.
