Description: Introduction to the theory and application of color as related to the elements and principles of design. Light and its effect on color. Emphasis on the development of presentation skills for the field of interior design

2. Define and contrast the properties of color: hue, value and intensity. (I)
3. Identify major color systems. (II)
4. Apply various color schemes and harmonies. (III)
5. Create two-dimensional compositions that incorporate the elements and principles of design. (IV)
6. Describe and apply various types of color contrast. (V)
7. Explain the process of color vision and the impact of light sources on color perception. (VI)
8. Explain how color influences human behavior. (VII)
9. Use a variety of presentation techniques.(I, III, IV, V, VI)
