Identify major components of weapons and ammunition. (IV) 9. Demonstrate proper basic mechanics in accurately and safely discharging a handgun including: Acceptance of an open weapon grip, stance, sight alignment, breath control, trigger squeeze, and follow through. (V) 10. Compare advantages/disadvantages of single-action versus double-action firing of the weapon. (VI) 11. Demonstrate proper and safe cleaning of the weapon. (VII) 12.
