Question for Kelly Robles from the ATF group:
American Sign Language has not had a column on the Languages matrix because there was no specific university major for ASL. There are however majors that ASL lower and upper division courses may be used for the language requirement (for ex., Internal Letters and Cultures). The question from the group is does that warrant adding a column for ASL courses in the CCM? The universities have been asked to work on the side together to come to alignment on the exam matrices course equivalencies. It was noted by NAU that on many exam matrices the universities are not in agreement. The university reps agreed to work on that issue and submit the necessary exam changes through their institution facilitators. |
