1.Multiple requests made at the meeting to change exam scores to "not accepted," but confusion about naming convention "NA." Do these need to be "NT" as per the matrix entry standards? In order to accurately reflect the meeting minutes, I will use "not accepted" on the matrices.
2. ATF wants additional information about IB SL exam in order to make any changes from "under review." Need data on exams taken, how many/which high schools. 1. Margarita Youngo (Pima) requested a vote of support from the ATF regarding "ownership" of courses that cross-referenced with History courses---proposing that History discipline takes precedence/ownership in funding, staffing and supervision (Endorsement was unanimous. See meeting notes for details.)
2. Guided Pathways impacting History courses. Must lobby to get onto guided pathways. (Robert Bergman-CAC) 3. Donna Allen (GCC-MCCCD) said Maricopa proposed changes to gen ed requirements--6 vs. 9 credits of social sciences credits on AA and AGS degrees, and that errors exist. Kathy works in the Curriculum dept at Maricopa and will follow up with Donna. |
