Changes to the CEG : |
From Tomoko Shimomura (ASU)
These course numbers have changed but are not reflected on the CEG for equivalency to NAU and UA.Will they be? JPN313 is now 301 (3cr) JPN314 is now 302 (3cr) JPN321 is now 401 (3 cr) Also, should the following courses be added to the CEG (for equivalency to NAU and UA)? JPN309 Oral Comm I JPN310 Oral Comm II JPN414 Intro to Classical Japanese |
Note | |
Changes to Majors on Common Course Matrix : |
1.ASU-add BA in International Letters and Cultures-Arabic concentration
2. Delete disestablished concentrations: Secondary Ed (BAE) French, German, Japanese (Chinese also requested as a deletion but it doesn't appear on the current list.)--effective 2019 3.NAU-delete BSED French and German |
Changes to Common Course Matrices : | ASU requested adding ARB101, 102, 201, 202 to common course matrix AND ASU course prefix list on ATF dashboard. Does it meet the criteria to be included? |
Changes to Exam Equivalency Matrices : |
Kathy Silberman (AZTransfer Facilitator) will seek information from International Baccalaureate because the ATF needs more info to be able to evaluate exams and assign credit equivalencies. Also get more info on "not accepted" (vs. not applicable, not acceptable, not transferrable) on exam scores-- not accepted implies reviewed but not accepted (example CLEP-Mohave-French not offered).

Additional Comment/ Discussion Items : |
1. Anne Walton-Ramirez (ASU) to check if MAK and THA courses are still offered at ASU (need to delete from dashboard course prefixes if not).
2. Guillermo Retana from Cochise agreed to give the ATF an update next year on OER (Open Educational Resources) 3. Issues Raised : |
1. Why do some ASU 101 and 102 language courses (101,102) have a G (Global Awareness) general ed designation, and some do not? (See appendix A in meeting notes for list-ASU is working on this.) Are additional designations, such as HU-Humanities a possibility? Pam (Howard, ASU) will work on ASL (SLG). Pima is working on C (Cultural Diversity) and G (Global Awarenesss) designations.
2. Dual Enrollment-effects on enrollment at the colleges |
