Additional Comment/ Discussion Items :
Issues Raised : Frustration regarding the communication of program changes expressed by community colleges (Glendale and Maricopa) to ASU. Examples of students prepared based on current understanding of program only to find they are being told they do not have the correct coursework by ASU. Lengthy discussion on timeline of changes and who, exactly, should be communicating program changes to faculty/advisors at community colleges.
Curriculum Planning : ASU moving toward one degree in Exercise & Wellness (Exercise & Wellness) with tracks for students to choose from for Strength/Conditioning, Clinical Exercise, and Corporate Fitness/Wellness. Pima CC is establishing a Fitness/Wellness Certificate program
ASSIST Report Comments : Question regarding the majors listed in ASSIST report and finding the specific information for this ATF.
