Spring Meeting Information :
No Data Changes :
Note
Changes to the CEG : Note to UA ATF Facilitator - See CCM Human Devlpt. column on this matrix. Some CC's have PSY 240 which is equiv. to your PSY 240 in the CEG. The CCM is showing that it is equiv. to FSHD 117 in the CCM though. Maybe a manual "OR... FSHD 117... in the CEG" would solve it? (for CAC's PSY 203, Cochise's PSY 240 and CCC's PSY 240). Or a note could be added to the matrix.
Changes to Majors on Common Course Matrix : Request to have 2 separate Common Course Matrices (FACS, Merchandising). Textiles would be the one common course that would overlap and need to be listed on both matrices. (Students who are interested in Merchandising/Fashion for a future transfer to the degrees offered by ASU and NAU should not follow the current Common Course Matrix. They have separate common courses they need to take (reason for request of 2 matrices).
Changes to Common Course Matrices : Please see Common Course Matrix for red text showing pending changes.
Changes to Exam Equivalency Matrices : N/A
AGEC Information : Discussion on students getting an AAS and then transferring to BS degrees. Please see attached minutes below for more info.
Record of Voting : Unanimous vote to keep the Fall 2016 ATF Meeting virtual only. The group would like to join as a whole at the beginning and then break off into two groups (Fashion/Family) for a period of time. The whole group would then join back in as a whole for the conclusion of the meeting. They have requested 2 separate phone lines for the portion of the meeting that will be split. Will AZ Transfer be able to provide this?
Additional Comment/ Discussion Items :
Issues Raised : Discussion on how this ATF group is really made up of two separate groups and if they should consider separating. It was mentioned that they were separate in the past (Early Childhood ATF was highlighted) but joined for a reason. They are willing to try a solution first (Splitting into two groups for 1/2 of their meeting and requesting AZ Transfer to create two separate matrices for their group).
Curriculum Planning :
ASSIST Report Comments : 1. To AZ Transfer: The group would like the reports to separate the disciplines of family studies and fashion/merchandising - too difficult to give feedback when they are combined. Is ASSIST actually placing fashion/merchandising in the Communication/Journalism/and Related Programs discipline?

2. To AZ Transfer: The group would like more information on the definitions of the numbers in the reports.

3. To the ATF Group: For individual institutional data, please contact the ASSIST person at your institution - not AZ Transfer. For a list of contacts for each institution, go to: http://assist.aztransfer.com/about/ and click on Steering Committee.

4. To the ATF Group: Regarding needing clarification on the intent of the data, there are two reports:

"New Transfers from AZ Community Colleges" shows demographics and transfer hours upon entry to an AZ University. The report can be found here: http://assist.aztransfer.com/resource/New_Transfers_2014.pdf.

The other report shows data on transfer students who actually graduated with a baccalaureate degree after transferring to one of the AZ Universities (previously transferred from an AZ Community College). This report is located at: http://assist.aztransfer.com/resources/Baccalaureate_Degree_Recipients_2014.pdf
