Changes to the CEG : Yavapai staff noted concerns associated with the encoding of their Chemistry courses. It reported that it was confusing and requested a more user friendly format (referenced UA format). They noted that they would contact their institution curriculum staff member as well as they were familiar with Alecia Mooney of NAU regarding their questions.

Additional Comment/ Discussion Items : There was some discussion regarding the course number standardization of Physic courses in reference to the CCM.  
Issues Raised : Duane DeSpain of Eastern noted that he is a resident faculty member teaching dual enrollment Chemistry courses. Mohave Community College had noted concerns with the credentials of dual enrollment instructors with Chemistry courses. The group had noted some concerns with the rigor associated with Chemistry courses offered in the high school. Discussed the concerns associated with the ACEN reducing the Microbiology requirement in regards to the Nursing program. It was discussed that it would be offered within a nursing course as a two week topic, possibly as a current topic. There was discussion as to the concerns of the Chemistry requirement being deleted from the Nursing program and the ramifications associated with this possibility.
