A recommendation to change all exam scores to say "or better" where appropriate. E.g. CLEP score
"50 or better" rather than just "50"

Add a footnote to the CLEP Financial Accounting exam to say "Students pursuing an AAS at a community college may be able to substitute this exam course to meet an Accounting requirement, but a substitution is is not allowed in a transfer degree. Contact the appropriate department at your community college to see if this is an option."

Record of Voting : All items were unanimously approved.
Effective Date for AGEC Change :
Additional Comment/ Discussion Items : Because ASU no longer accepts community college credit for LES 305, the ASU Accountancy degree may not be completeable in 120 credits if students do not complete specific AGEC and/or elective courses. ASU initially wanted to have a separate ABUS-SR for this degree, but after a meeting with other schools, and the discussion at the ATF meeting, they are checking to see if there is a way to have the regular ABUS work.

Also discussed were the learning outcomes that the universities expect of their students who start the professional program, whether they're transfer or native students. Some of the universities said it's just the learning outcomes of the program prereqs. CC's asked for those university outcomes and/or course syllabi be shared with the cc's or posted online.

The question arose as to how often the community colleges do and should submit courses to the CEG. A university rep noted that some courses hadn't been reviewed for many years.

It was mentioned that there is too much of the same information in multiple places, including some information that was conflicting. It was suggested that the information in the CCM could be pulled from the CEG to make it simple, but it was also noted that the universities sometimes accept cc courses to meet a requirement even if there is not a direct equivalent in the CEG.
