| Issues Raised : | Several MCCCD ATF members inquired about the process to pursue course evaluation by ASU for equivalency. There is a new ASU course called Science of Health Care Delivery (HCD) which is very similar to a MCCCD HCC course. Kathy Silberman from Center for Curriculum and Transfer Articulation (and meeting facilitator for AZTransfer) consulted Rose Rojas at CCTA and followed up with email on October 7: Steps are 1. MCCCD Instructional Council (in collaboration with the HCC sub-group, in this case) agrees on the articulation /course equivalencies to pursue. 2. MCCCD Instructional Council Chairperson emails an informal request to Molly Baird in the Center for Curriculum and Transfer Articulation-MCCCD District office (molly.baird@domail.maricopa.edu). The request should include the initiator's contact info., MCCCD course prefixes and numbers, and proposed ASU equivalencies. 3. Molly submits request via ACETS (AZ Course Equivalency Tracking System) to ASU for evaluation. Follow-up and/or outcome is communicated by Molly to the Instructional Council. |
