Media & Society column ASU - add JMC 110 (JMC 110 or MCO 120) Dine - Add ENG 241 with a footnote that it is not equivalent to ASU & UA. (Both ASU & NAU will review the course to determine if they will accept it.) EAC - Add MDC 102 Pima - remove footnote since additional ASU course will be added as an option Public Speaking (Elective) column Dine - add ENG 121 Add new Common Course column called Photojournalism ASU - DEC(JMC) NAU - JLS 284 UA - JOUR 203 Pima - JRN 280 (There are currently two other courses equivalent to UA's JOUR 203, but according to UA they will need to be modified to keep the equivalency. While there would only be one community college with an equivalent course, the other community college reps felt that having this available as a common course would be impetus to offer equivalent courses, or to modify current course to be equivalent to NAU & UA.) Media Arts Matrix Intro to Television & Radio column ASU - remove MCO 200 Pima - add JRN 260 Intro to Production AWC - add footnote that course is not a direct equivalent to UA and students may have to take the req'd UA course. MCCCD - remove TCM 180 or 180AA and replace with TMC 135. Pima - remove DAR 125 and replace with DAR 225. Public Speaking column Dine - add ENG 121 Unless ASU adds a shared major, the ASU row should be removed so as not to confuse students. |
