Common Course Matrix - NAU BSED in Early Childhood Education is located on ATF Portal Page but has disappeared in the Common Course Matrix (Note to Rebecca: We need a bug fix in the Degree and Pathways database to make this degree reappear on the Matrix).
For Cochise - Eric Brooks requested the following changes be made in the Matrix. For the Children's Literature column, insert ECE 156 (has been approved elective by all three universities) For the Nutrition, Health, and Safety column, insert ECE 158 which has been approved by ASU and NAU. For the Foundations of SEI column, insert ECE 218, which has been approved by all three universities. (other cells need to be filled in for this column as well from the CEG data). |

| Additional Comment/ Discussion Items : | Recommendation that a flow chart be added to the Portal Pages that show faculty the processes to follow on how to submit courses to the three universities for a re-evaluation (or a new evaluation) for transfer credit. Another recommendation was made that information be posted for faculty on how to change course information in their Common Course Matrix (Make sure CEG is aligned with new info., accurate with institutional catalog, notify IAF, etc.) |
| Issues Raised : | This ATF group would like the ability to post program information on their ECE ATF Portal Page and in the Major Guides. They want students to be informed of alternate degree programs available in Arizona for Early Childhood Education. |

ATF Portal Pages: add ASU Degree in Educational Studies (Non-Profit) Headstart
Presentation on the Arizona Early Childhood Professional Developmental System was given. A Steering Committee has been developed. ATF Members Barbara Mezzio (Central AZ College) and Pamela Powell (NAU) are members of this new committee. The outcomes of this group include developing a prior learning assessment, identifying common CDA courses that articulate, create and implement an AA in ECE, and develop a variety of pathways that articulate (2+2), (2+2+1) and (2+2+2). |
