Motion to propose a new SUN course: AJS 1101
AJS 101 (Introduction to Administration of Justice) is offered at ten of the public community colleges and at least one tribal college in Arizona. The majority of the institutions have direct equivalencies at all three universities. All three universities have direct equivalencies with each other for this course as well (ASU = CRJ 100, NAU = CCJ 101, UA = SOC 241 and PA 241). Other AJS courses were discussed as potential future SUN courses. However, in order for those courses to qualify for SUN they have to be directly equivalent at all three universities. UA only offers direct equivalencies for AJS 101.

The ATF members discussed developing a list of common learning outcomes for some of the core courses in the AJS Programs. They will be compiling their data of learning outcomes taught at each institution and will send through the listserv. Would be helpful to bring samples of syllabi for the core courses to the next Fall meeting.
